The Wade Worx Solo Cassette keeps a single spool secure, organized, and ready exactly when you need it.
Built using a combination of clever mechanical geometry and strategically placed high-strength magnets, the Solo Cassette holds your spool firmly in place while allowing quick, reliable access when it's time to tie on fresh tippet.
Designed to eliminate unnecessary bulk, the Solo works perfectly for minimalist setups or can be stacked with additional Solo Cassettes to build a fully modular system that grows with your needs.

Each Solo Cassette set includes:
1 × Wade Worx Solo Cassette
Elastic retention bands installed
1 spare set of elastic bands
Wade Worx lanyard tag (included once per order)
1 set of Label Stickers 0x to 7x
The Wade Worx Trio Cassette system is currently available for early production backorder as part of our first manufacturing run.
Shipping is expected to begin in May 2026, though exact fulfillment dates may vary as production ramps up. Customers will receive updates as manufacturing progresses and orders will ship in the order they are received.
Please note that final production units may vary slightly from the images shown as we complete the transition from prototype to full production.
Orders are fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Wade Worx system is designed to work with most standard fly fishing tippet spools.
The initial launch version supports spools with the following dimensions:
Maximum outside diameter: 70 mm (≈ 2.75 in)
Spool width:7 mm – 12 mm (≈ 0.27 in – 0.47 in)
Additional Wade Worx versions supporting other spool sizes will be introduced in future releases.
If you have a specific spool in mind, please contact us and we will do our best to help confirm compatibility.

Because spool dimensions vary between manufacturers, it is the responsibility of the customer to confirm that their spools fall within the supported dimensions listed above. Currently Maxima Spools are too large to work with this 70mm system make sure to check and select the 80mm version. Still unsure? Read the FAQ for more information.
